Whilst the seasons vary from summer to fall I am hanging to grilling season for only a bit more. Among my favourite colour mixes is lemon and rosemary. Together with my rosemary plant booming in my own deck I thought that it only fitting to relish the summer flavour of fresh blossoms using Rosemary Lemon Grilled Chicken. Actually, I can’t tell a lie…. My rosemary plant isn’t booming in my deck. I’m known in my family because the rosemary plant creature. Annually for Mother’s Day I subtly imply this you of my sons may desire to provide me a rosemary plant. Which I assume is the reason why I want to request a new one year-after-year. It’s become a joke today so once I get my annual rosemary plant I’m told “Happy Mother’s Day Mother, here is this season’s rosemary plant for you to kill!” I will be delighted to report that this season’s rosemary plant has managed to survive….Notably….. At least enough to make a fabulously delicious Rosemary Lemon Grilled Chicken!


  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Coconut oil
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 Tbs. lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 4 boneless
  • 1 lemon,


  1. In bowl lemon mixture.
  2. Transfer Add chicken. Marinate in ice box 2-4 hrs, turning once.
  3. Pre Heat

  5. Grill
  6. Remove let stand five minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, grill lemon slices until just caramelized, about 23 minutes, turning once.
