I first made these honey soy chicken wings a couple of years back when I had been working long hours at San Francisco. I needed a nice comforting dish which didn’t involve standing in the front of the stove for a long time. And rather something which can be accessed readily the following day. The end result was these chicken wings, which require just 10 minutes of marinating period and thirty minutes from the oven. They’re as delicious as they are simple, packed with flavour by the honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Try them out and allow me to know what you think!
I’d like to Share a recipe which has ever been reliable, through good days and bad. Whenever I get home late from work, and do not feel like doing much on the cooker, I’d marinate wings in a honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil mix, then put them into the oven for 25 to thirty minutes. Truly, it cannot be simpler; along with the flavour mix is tried-and-true. Occasionally I’d add cayenne for a spicy kick.
True, They are much more of an appetizer than a full size meal, but sometimes what you really want after a day of calling calls and working with spreadsheets is to simply plop in front of the TV, drink cheap wine out of a Mason jar, and eat chicken wings with your palms. It is possible to make these for larger parties or only a quiet day at home, with lots to put away in the refrigerator for the forthcoming week.
